Hidden in the high alpine landscapes of lutruwita are tarns — tjörns or ponds in Old Norse — enigmatic bodies of water resting in the stillness of the mountains. Often shrouded in mist or illuminated by the sun, their colours and moods change like gemstones held to the light.

Morning light glistens

still and full

the tarn holds all

in its quiet lustre.
