Hovering orbs of translucent colour. Light catches, flicks on and off, and illuminates a glowing world within. The chink of glass against glass, cool to touch, delicious to hold.
This series recalls the mesmerising and addictive marble run games from childhood and is part of an evolving body of work called Playscapes.
By emptying the mind through play, I step into the unknown and embrace the now. The world beyond falls away and my mind lets go of its internal dialogue.
Unfettered, uncluttered — simply being.
